WTF/FTW – Daffy Duck: The Lollipop Chainsaw Wizard

Got a double header for you people to today; so remember Goichi Suda, also known as Suda51? Of course you have, he’s done many games over the years but is most famously (or recently) known for No More Heroes; a psychedelic adventure of one young otakus’ rise to become the ultimate assassin – with bloody results. How’s he going to top that with his upcoming game? With a perky zombie hunting cheerleader that has a severed head (still alive) tied to her leg and wields a hot pink chainsaw that weights more than her…. Crazy, mos def, but this is Suda we’re talking about here – if anyone can put lightning in a bottle, again, it would be him. Here’s the trailer.

The Looney Tunes Show which premiered early this summer showcases classic Warner Brothers cartoon characters in modern times as neighbors and friends. However that doesn’t stop the wacky adventures they have every episode. Without a doubt the character that certainly earned his name is Daffy Duck; while unemployed in reality he sees himself (and won’t mind telling people) as a wizard. I’ve written that off as one of the things that mad mallard says to get off of getting a real job – but when I saw this on the Merry Melodies segment I thought:

a) Epic

b) I’d watch that spin off show
