Well people in response to unleashing the worst, most horrendous ending to a entertainment work EVAR (sarcasm – and yes I’m still planning on giving my take on the Mass Effect 3 ending, but I’m going to wait til the ‘Extended Cut DLC’ is released this summer and tackle this whole ‘controversy’ in one go. Anyway…); BioWare went live with a new multiplayer DLC called Resurgence for Mass Effect 3. It’s not much but enough to keep people playing and upgrading their N7 rank. In Resurgence you gain access to two new stages to rumble in, new Asari and Krogan classes (Justicar and Battlemaster respectively) as well as new races like Batarians and Geth. Finally they added three new weapons to the multiplayer arsenal; assault rifle, SMG, and some sort of harpoon gun which I assume is a sniper weapon. The stages are the only thing that’s readily available, the rest you got to earn (and being a little lucky always helps because the rewards are random). Again this isn’t the meatiest of DLC but hey it’s free – and free is always in my price range.
