Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (2/21/2014)

The original Donkey Kong Country was quite the eye opener. Its looks, its sounds, and the action and adventure it provided showed, once again, the superiority of the SNES. More still, it was one of the first video game reboots to appear: based after one of the original Nintendo games created (Donkey Kong) the main character of the same name (though not the original DK) must get back his horde of Bananas from the vicious Kremlings and their portly leader King K. Rool. Since then the DK clan have been on adventure after adventure saving their island (and their food source) from those who would threaten it. This time in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze its Viking snowmads who step up and try to konquer the Kongs. They freeze over and move in, but using team work and good old fashion monkey shines players can reclaim the island show the invaders why Kongs are kings.
