Armada’s E3 picks: Fable Legends (2014)

Ladies and Gentlemen – I like the Fable series. I know they’re not the best games, nor do they live up to their lofty promises, but they try to reach that brass ring every game. Plus the general quirkiness of the Fable’s Albion makes it standout from your standard Adventure game, which I like. This time around team work is key as players team up to a group of four to go on quests. You don’t get to create your character in Legends but instead use character classes that fit your play style: the tank, the mage, the rogue, the archer (x2), and maybe more revealed in the future. However Legends will also let you choose the role of the villain and use monsters, traps and magic to wipe out the heroes to invade your domain. Again the game’s premise isn’t terribly original, but with the ability to group with four players to face adventures that most likely will be against another player living out his Jack of Blades fanfic; both replay valve and my sprints will be high for Fable Legends.
