You know people being a criminal in real life is a dead end existence that doesn’t end well for the criminal. In video games however being a criminal means you’re a misunderstood person who robs from others who are more corrupt than you – and becomes the hero by committing crimes against the cruel, uncaring, business/town/city/country/ world (and you get the girl/guy). Well the Payday series is more the former than the latter (although you do tend to rob from other bad guys a lot). You and three other people steal from low-to-high valve locations and try to get away scott free (Like (and before) Battlefield Hardline but on a much smaller scale)). It sounds simple, but not really, as many different areas have their own protection, security, and dangers to them. However you have options in how to break & enter: guns blazing, quick ‘n quiet, hack everything, even hire out advantages like better get away drivers and tougher vehicles. Payday 2 has been out for a while but Crimewave Edition will be a title for the PS4 & Xbox One only. Basically it will have updated visuals and all DLC up to the point, which is expected. So if you enjoyed Hardline but wished there was less Battlefield in it then pick up Payday 2: Crimewave Edition in this summer.
