Armada’s E3 picks: Sea of Thieves (TBA)

Rare Replay is one thing, but revealing a whole new massive multiplayer online game after almost seven years in creative exile is quite another thing. Rare’s comeback title (hopefully), Sea of Thieves, will put players in the roles of pirates scouring the seas for treasure and adventures – all online with other players. Now the pirate MMO isn’t a new concept but the Sea of Thieves have some differences from the pack. Such as being a free-to-start title, a game available for both PC and Console (Xbox One), being a 1st person MMO, working together with other players as a crew on a ship, and some of the most colorful art outside of Nintendo I’ve seen. Now of course there not must else about this game so far, and it’s been a while since Rare made something that wasn’t a Wii Sports one off, but I’m an optimist and their trailer was good so I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. However we probably won’t see any Sea of Thieves news for some time in the future.
