There & Back Again: The Division – Underground (Expansion I)

There-&-Back-Again,-The-Divison-Underground

You know people, in order to get all the E3 Let’s Watches done I had to hole myself up in the game bunker. Not leaving for any reason unless it was to eat, sleep, and eat. So it’s good fortune that my first video after E3 is the latest DLC for The Division, entitled Underground. My eyes are already tuned for low light conditions and I’m not claustrophobic, so let’s do this!

Let’s Review: The Division

In a internet full of let’s plays, reacts, and gaming top 10 – where has the reviews gone? Sure there are some holdouts, but their reviews are either misinformed or just too long (or both really). How will you know a game’s legit then? Worry not because, once again, the Armada’s got you covered.

Gameroween 2015: Video Game Characters that make good costumes (Splatoon Inkling)

Splatoon Inkling

Boy or Girl this one’s a lock for kids. Not to say adults couldn’t pull of the look, shoot mostly adults play the game, but there’s so few video game characters these days that would fit kids. All an inventive parent would need is a squid hat of some kind (which is EZ to find these days) and a super soaker (non filled of course) and BAM your done. Whether or not your kids want to go as an Inkling is another matter entirely. If they don’t then it will be your time to shine, just don’t get carrier away with accuracy. People don’t like trick or treaters that paint their houses with giant people sized rollers – don’t ask me how I know this.

There & Back again: Splatoon

Hey people! If you liked my Splatoon let’s play (and who didn’t), guess what – we’re going there & back again to see a little more awesome from this colorful shooting game.

Let’s Play: Splatoon

Violence in gaming is no strange sight; some of the most famous and successful games had a lot blood and gore in them. Well Nintendo, being Nintendo, created maybe the world first family friendly 3rd person shooter and has the nerve to be good: Splatoon. You still get to shoot up, frag, and call in airstrikes on enemies, but the only thing being spilled on the street is paint – that’s the point.

Armada Let’s Play: Sunset Overdrive

Will this Xbox One exclusive game, an Insomniac Game by the by, bring the pain and super sexy style, or will it be all fizzle and no Overcharge. Now I’m not a robotic focus group, but I did have fun playing in this surprisingly tough title.

Armada’s E3 picks: The Order 1886 (02/20/15)

The Order 1886 is not your standard 3rd person shooter, but rather a hybrid of mythical elements, steam punk, and mutants. Set in a Victorian-Era, 1886, you play as Sir Galahad; one of four main characters that are a part an order of Knights spanning back to king Arthur’s day. Accept, of course, Arthur never used lighting guns, mortal launchers and concussion rifles, but you do. Your job, and the job of your order, is to project the crown from all who threaten it; whether that’s a growing terrorist rebellion or genetic throwbacks that are both man and beast. The story itself hasn’t changed since the game was first announced, but from the trailers we can tell that this game will have a darker tone, questionable mortal ethics, and interesting combat using weapons and against enemies that are anything but the standard.
