AFK – brb

Well people, thanks to the craziness of Thanksgiving, the coming of Black Friday, and both True Backlash & Blu going on vacation (without me no less *sniff*) I’m going to take this week off. Now I know you think it’s really because of Dragon Age Inquisition, but your wrong, its because of Dragon Age Inquisition AND Super Smash Bros for Wii U! Sorry people I’m weak in that way. Don’t worry though; next week I’ll make up for it in spades. Till then: Have a great Thanksgiving people!

The Fall of Games: Cyber Monday

Well people I hope you’re had an excellent Thanksgiving and survived Black Friday (winter is coming) but the madness is not over yet because today is Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday is the internet equivalent of Black Friday where shoppers go online to shop for the best deals. Well if nothing else there will be a lot less punches and tazering with today; but that doesn’t mean the deals are any less. Sadly no good deals for the PS4 & X one consoles but the big three of online shopping still have some pretty good savings for the discriminating gamer (or the friends/family member of one). Click on the links below to see what there offering, happy shopping!

Best Buy

  • Best Buy has about 1 billion visitors shopping online and 600 million shoppers visiting our U.S. stores annually.
  • is among the top 10 retail websites in the United States.
  • According to NRFStores, is in the top 5 most popular retail web sites.

  • GameStop Corp., a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company.
  • World’s largest multichannel video game retailer.
  • GameStop is committed to delivering games to consumers anywhere, any time and on any device.

  • Amazon’s warehouses have more square footage than 700 Madison Square Gardens and could hold more water than 10,000 Olympic Pools.
  • Amazon owns 10 percent of North American E-Commerce.
  • Amazon’s unique users are 5x more valuable than eBay’s

WTF/FTW – South Park epiode ‘Black Friday’

South Park is… Well South Park, It’s praised for its excellent writing, social commentary, and unique type for humor, however it always plays to the ‘how far go can we go’ method  of storytelling. Which means throughout the story you’ll see some rather obscene scenes that might disturb some and entertain others – its the catch 22 of their  madness. Do I agree with those scenes that they show in their attempt for shock value? No, not really. Can I deny that their show’s writing is borderline genius? No, absolutely not. If there’s proof of this then its found in their latest episode called ‘Black Friday’. Which brilliantly combines crazy holiday shopping, Game of Thrones, Next Gen consoles, Platoon, and a little bit of their upcoming game into 30 minutes of awesome. All I got to say is Winter is coming…

Black Friday Game Shopping Tips

It’s 3 in the morning, do you know where your loved ones are? Of course you do because its Black Friday and you’re all in the same place – a line. Sure it maybe a different store but its always the same line, but we all know the real fun begins when you get into the store and try to sift through the good deals with the bad. So for the sake of all the would-be shoppers for games, here’s an article I wrote last year that might help you and your shopping experience. You might be able to make your own deals as well… What? It’s not a cop out, give me a break, I’m fighting some dude for the last Wii U (or I think I am, you never know with Black Friday).
