The Great Votetonting – 2012 United States Elections
Yes ladies and gentlemen today is the day (at least in the states) where we elect the president for the next four years. Now, as we all know, this year’s been a little rough because of all the commercials, debates, and name calling. Even was effected too; from little girls to our own True Backlash who swore he would punch his computer if he saw one more Mitt Romney commercial on you tube. I talked him down and said after everyone votes for Barack Obama today everything will get back to normal.
I kid, I kid: the electoral process a fundamental right of all American citizens, that gives power to the people and chance to decide how their government is ran. Who they want to vote (and essentially represent them) for in the process is up to them and no man can make them do otherwise (but seriously vote Obama). However since we won’t be able to experience this kind of madness for at least four more years here’s some of my favorite you tube findings I’ve, well, found. Consider it a rewarded for voting today. Well I hope you all had a good Halloween, mine was a little more water logged than usually but still good. Of course the most famous angry of birds had a productive night as well. Trick or Treat indeed.
WTF/FTW: PSY – ft. HYUNA GANGNAM STYLE (오빤 딱 내 스타일 )
Two days ago I showed the rhymatic craziness that is GANGNAM STYLE, created by PSY. The piece had a nice beat and was sure enough dynamic, however the video itself was the star of the show. If there was a picture for ‘wacky,crazy, randomness’ GANGNAM STYLE would be that picture. Now I come to find their is another version of that song called ft. HYUNA, where singer, dancer and all around Korean idol Kim Hyun-a tag teams’ with PSY to sing GANGNAM STYLE. This particular video is decided less wacky,crazy, randomness and a little more sexy (and little more seizure inducing). Never the less this shows that both men and women can GANGNAM STYLE, so all that’s left is animals – get to work PSY, I know you want to.

This just in (Or not) – Star Trek Anniversary: a three year mission that lasted 46
So fokes I don’t have to tell you that today’s the Anniversary of the sci fi epic Star Trek when it first aired on September 8, 1966. How to I know you all know? Because you all went to Google and saw the animated Google sign, with the letters dressed up as the famed original cast, even down to the red skirt. Ah Star Trek; it was the definitive science fiction show on TV. It broke through many different barriers (whether intentionally or not), was a well written show that touched on multiple genres like drama, comedy, or even horror, spawned 3 spin offs, 1 prequel, and 10 ten different movies. There are entire conventions devoted to it, technology inspired by it, and its own home grown language (Klingon) has not only gain life in the real world but has its own online institute to teaching it. In short Star Trek is awesome and you should use this day to watch all things Treky on Netflix, and if you don’t have NetFlix then youtube.com. Live long and prosper.
WTF/FTW – Mr.T getting some nuts
After the one man muscle band, starting Terry Crews, I feel it was appropriate to show one of my favorite WTF/FTW ever. People have you ever been on a team sport and you got stuck with that one guy that every little (and I mean very little) bump or trip was a matter of life or death? Yeah I hated those guys too, well in this WTF/FTW momment Mr.T confronts one such loser and reads him the riot – and offers a product placement at the same time. Pity this fool people, pity this fool.
