GET HYPED: Cloud Strife in Smash Bros.

Because Nintendo that’s why!

That’s Gamertainment: Announcement of Canada’s Super Smash Club

If you people don’t already know, or just joined us for the first time (and in that case welcome to the Video Game Armada – the bar is open) I’m the biggest fan boi of Nintendo – I mean they brought gaming back from the brink and for that I’ll always be grateful. Even while they’re being ignored by alot of 3rd party developers right now; Nintendo is on a upswing  thanks to their fall line up and their comedy based video. Today I show one such video detailing how the president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, announced of the new (well not so new now) Super Smash Club for Canada. All I got to say is only in Nintendo of America… Er, Canada.

This just in (Or not) – Super Smash Bros. Direct 4.8.2014

Usually the Nintendo Direct videos would focus on the many upcoming games of the Nintendo roster but this time they’re going all in with their heavy hitter IP: Smash Brothers. This video answers a lot of questions fans or general lover of games may have about this awesome battle royale title. Including but not limited to game modes, stages, online play, bosses,  frame rate differences, projected release dates, and more. So if you didn’t watch this a few days ago (or didn’t know), the Armada has got you covered with the video above, you’re welcome.

This just in (Or not) – A new challenger(s) appears

Though these challengers weren’t exactly a secret. First up Zatanna for ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us‘. Ed Boon kept sending musical song titles, carnival pictures, and general hints that people quickly figured out it was Zatanna. Still this magical mavin makes a excellent addition and efficient fighter to the Injustice line up – as Grundy found out first hand.

luigi SBWU

The other challenger for Super Smash Brothers Wii U is Luigi, of course. He made it into the other games and if he didn’t make it into this one it would’ve have been so wrong. Sadly no trailer of the green machine in action, but it’s only a matter of time.
